CALABASAS, Calif.-Ixia, which provides Internet Protocol network testing solutions, introduced its IxWLAN line of testing tools for the 802.11 segment.
The new product line is a result of the company’s acquisition of Communication Machinery Corp., a privately held company that focused on testing tools for 802.11a/b/g networks and equipment.
The IxWLAN products combine CMS’s 802.11 station emulation and security know-how with Ixia’s traffic generation and functional test applications, including IxChariot, IxExplorer, IxLoad, IxVoice and IxVerify.
