LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Corp. is teaming with Fujifilm on an offering allowing users to create and send personal postcards from their handsets.
With the BREW-based application, users can create a postcard and send it via e-mail to anyone in the United States for $2. A package of three postcards is $4.50; five postcards cost $8.
Software developer Summus Inc. created the application, which is available on the Motorola V265 and V710, the Audiovox 8910 and the Nokia 6255i. Alltel also offers an integrated photo management service with Fujifilm allowing users to create online albums and print images through retailers.
