LAFAYETTE, Colo.-APconnections, a bandwidth shaping products supplier, announced today that Internet Colorado has chosen its AirEqualizer power-over-Ethernet for wireless access points across Colorado. APconnections said its technology will help Internet Colorado, an Internet Service Provider, control network congestion at its access points, ensuring high-quality wireless connectivity to its 50,000 Voice over Internet Protocol customers across western Colorado.
“We depend on AirEqualizer to help us provide our customers with the highest level of wireless Internet connectivity and service at the lowest possible cost. Less than three weeks after our initial rollout, several customers let us know that they were very impressed and pleased with the dependability and speed of their new wireless connectivity, which they are now able to leverage for voice, data or other daily online activities,” said Jason Swenson, president of Internet Colorado.
Art Reisman, chief executive and founder of APconnections, said, “With AirEqualizer, we have helped change the economics of delivering quality wireless services; built-in equalizing eliminates brownouts and lockups, while at the same time allowing 25 percent to 40 percent more users to connect to a single AP.”
