PhoneDo relaunches as Convergin with fixed-mobile line of products

NEW YORK-Convergin, formerly PhoneDo Networks, is launching its carrier-grade core network wireless convergence server solution for fixed-mobile convergence in the United States.

Convergin said its Accolade platform unifies mobile, legacy and next-generation network elements, enabling service providers to accelerate network evolution toward a Session Initiation Protocol mobile convergence, expanding the reach of core switching and service platforms beyond their domains toward Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystems.

The company is targeting the product at mobile and fixed operators, mobile virtual network operators and emerging carriers in the United States and other regions around the world.

“Our mission is to lead and accelerate the evolution of networks through convergence toward the realization of an IMS core,” said Dr. Ayal Itzkovitz, chief executive of Convergin.

“The Accolade platform is the best long-term option for service providers to evolve their network while entering new markets, attracting new customers and employing new business models,” he said

Convergin is a privately held company that is headquartered in Israel with clients in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
