LONDON-French mobile-phone company Orange plc teamed with broadband provider Wanadoo to offer Orange customers home broadband service for about $17.86 a month.
The offer is available to new Orange subscribers as well as existing customers who extend their mobile contracts. Orange also launched a half-prince line rental deal this week that gives customers access to third-generation services for as low as $22.33 a month.
Both companies are part of the France Telecom Group, and the broadband initiatives are part of France Telecom’s NExT strategy aimed at delivering total communications offerings to customers.
