HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa.-The Wireless Xcessories Group Inc. and InPhonic Inc. announced a joint marketing and distribution agreement that calls for Wireless Xcessories to offer InPhonic’s services to its 1,000 private-label Web site affiliates.
Wireless Xcessories is a nationwide manufacturer and distributor of electronic and cellular accessories. The company also creates private-labeled Web sites for affiliates. InPhonic sells online wireless products and services.
According to the agreement, Wireless Xcessories’ affiliates now can allow their customers to activate cell-phone services with any of the nation’s largest wireless carriers. InPhonic also has agreed to make Wireless Xcessories Group a preferred accessory supplier.
“Currently, our private-labeled Web sites feature accessories for cell phones, iPod, MP3 and related devices,” said Steve Rade, Wireless Xcessories’ chief executive officer. “The relationship with InPhonic now allows us to offer our affiliates the ability to activate phones for Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless L.L.C., Sprint Nextel Corp., T-Mobile USA Inc., Alltel Corp. and others and further expands our product and service offering. Affiliates can now offer the newest phones and a variety of airtime services with no investment in inventory.”
