LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-Motorola Inc. unveiled additions to its popular Razr line of devices, including new colors, features and a CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Razr.
“These four news phones complement the millions of Razrs already in use, enabling consumers to choose the experience that best fits their personal style and mobile needs,” said Leslie Dance, Motorola’s corporate vice president of global marketing and communications.
Specifically, Motorola introduced new pink and blue Razrs, as well as an updated GSM Razr that features a 1.23 megapixel digital camera and removable memory card slot. Finally, the company also showed off its long-awaited EV-DO Razr, which features a 1.3 megapixel camera. Motorola chief Ed Zander has previously discussed the company’s plans for a CDMA Razr.
Motorola said the phones would be available in the fourth quarter. However, Motorola did not say which carriers would sell the devices.
Motorola has sold more than 12 million GSM Razrs.
