CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-Fixed wireless broadband service provider Dynamic Broadband Inc. said it has acquired the fixed wireless assets and customer base of AiroLink Communications Inc. The move extends Dynamic Broadband’s network into a handful of markets in Iowa, including Mt. Vernon, Lisbon, Center Point, Rowley and Walker.
“We have seen unprecedented growth in our Cedar Rapids, Marion and Hiawatha markets over the last 12 months because customers want a better Internet service and that is exactly what wireless Internet delivers,” stated Mike Brown, president of Dynamic Broadband. “Our plan with AiroLink is to take the solid network foundation that AiroLink has built over the last 4 years, and upgrade it to our ‘carrier class’ standards.
“We believe the businesses in the Mt. Vernon, Lisbon and Center Point areas will appreciate the ‘greater than T-1 speeds for less than T-1 cost’ value proposition that we deliver for data and internet connections, as well as our 7 x 24 technical support.”
Dynamic Broadband said it offers point-to-point wireless services and high-speed wireless Internet and data services to business and residential customers in communities throughout Iowa including Sioux City, Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Indianola, Pella, Newton, Marshalltown, Clinton, Waverly, Carroll, Glidden, Gilman and Decorah.
“I am pleased to be able to offer my customers the additional services of Dynamic Broadband and the long term benefits of being part of a larger wireless entity,” said Jeff Niemeier, president of AiroLink Communications. “This is a very good evolution for the existing AiroLink customers and for the communities that Dynamic Broadband will now serve.”
