SAN JOSE, Calif.-Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. will use ArrayComm L.L.C.’s smart antenna technology in its wireless base stations, the companies announced.
ArrayComm said its antenna technology is designed to help equipment providers boost system range, capacity, data rates and coverage quality on W-CDMA, HSDPA and WiMAX networks. The new agreement grants Samsung full rights to use ArrayComm’s products in base stations across its wireless portfolio.
“ArrayComm’s technology has demonstrated great performance,” said Kitae Lee, president of Samsung’s Telecommunication Network Business.
