SAN JOSE, Calif.-The WiMAX Forum appointed Jeff Orr director of marketing and Matt Wangler director of operations.
Orr will oversee global marketing strategy and day-to-day marketing operations. Prior to joining the forum, Orr was director of worldwide product marketing at Proxim Wireless. He also served as a member of the WiMAX Forum board of directors from 2003 to 2005.
Wangler will oversee daily activities of program management of the forum working groups, event planning and information technology infrastructure. He joins the forum from the Ashwood Group, a consulting firm he co-founded.
