UrbanWorld expands content offering

LOS ANGELES-Mobile content provider UrbanWorld Wireless launched its first mobile game and added the voices of National Football League running backs Warrick Dunn and Deuce McAllister to ringtone offerings.

UrbanWorld unveiled Hip Hop 101, a trivia game about the urban music industry that rewards players with free, exclusive ringtones. The title is available for users of Danger Inc.’s Sidekick for $3. Further, a new game featuring artist DJ Kid Capri is scheduled to launch with Verizon Wireless in the coming months.

UrbanWorld’s mobile marketing clients include Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Chingy and the Beastie Boys.

“In 2006, we will continue to explore innovative ways to live our mission statement: to integrate wireless and urban youth lifestyle, changing culture forever,” said Chief Executive Officer Mike Johns.
