ATLANTA-Air2Web Inc. said it is providing wireless gateway services for WNEP Channel 16 in Pennsylvania to allow the station to send short message service notifications about weather-related school closures to parents, students and school employees.
WNEP covers northeastern and central Pennsylvania. The station has written a proprietary application specifically designed to communicate school closure conditions.
