CHICAGO-Prepaid wireless services provider DBS Communications Inc. launched its mobile virtual network enablement offering Versent Mobile, which the company said provides the tools necessary for companies to launch mobile virtual network operator-based services.
DBS said Versent provides MVNOs with provisioning, billing, retail and customer care technology platforms as well as wholesale airtime access on national GSM and CDMA networks.
The company has developed and launched private label services for EZlink, which is targeted at urban ethnic markets, and the youth-targeted Firefly Mobile service.
