CHARLOTTE, N.C.—SunCom Wireless Holdings Inc. tapped Wirestone to manage marketing strategies in the carrier’s retail and e-commerce divisions.
Wirestone, an interactive advertising firm, will be responsible for shaping SunCom’s in-store marketing efforts. The company will also work with SunCom to develop online campaigns including promotions, phone comparison tools and content offerings.
SunCom offers wireless services to consumers in the Southeastern United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The two companies have worked together since last year.
“Many wireless consumers shop both the online and the offline retail stores before making a decision to purchase,” Wirestone Managing Director Paul Marobella Jr. said, “making it critical to be consistent in messaging, identity and attitude.”
