BlueAnt crawls into U.S. Bluetooth market

NEW YORK—BlueAnt Wireless, an Australian supplier of Bluetooth peripheral devices, announced its entry into the U.S. market and opened up its headquarters in New York.

Among BlueAnt’s product offerings are wireless headsets and speakerphones, both of which are now available across the United States through several distributors and retailers, said the company. In particular, BlueAnt launched its X3 Micro Bluetooth headset priced at $70 and Supertooth II sun-visor-mounted hands-free speakerphone priced at $130 into the U.S. market. The company also is offering its Sonic Bluetooth portable speakers, priced at $150, in some locations.
