WASHINGTON—Online wireless retailer InPhonic Inc. signed a distribution agreement to add mobile virtual network operator Virgin Mobile USA L.L.C.’s pay-as-you-go product to its lineup of postpaid offerings.
InPhonic offers service from multiple carriers and MVNOs, including the four national wireless operators as well as Amp’d Mobile Inc., Alltel Corp. and U.S. Cellular Corp. through sites such as its Wirefly.com Web site and other partner-branded sites such as Amazon.com and Staples.com.
According to InPhonic, its network of consumer sites attracts more than 20 million unique visitors each month and “will provide an excellent platform to offer pre-paid wireless products and services across one of America’s largest e-commerce marketing channels.”
