- Pacific Growth Equities initiated coverage on Texas Instruments Inc. with a neutral rating.
- RW Baird cut its estimates on OmniVision Technologies Inc. on concerns about business in mainland China. For 2007, it now expects EPS of $1.46 rather than $1.60 and for 2007 it expects EPS of $1.35 rather than $1.55. Pacific Growth Equities initiated coverage on the company with a neutral rating
- Prudential Equity Group raised its rating on STMicroelectronics to overweight from neutral due to potential margin expansion, good shareholder value creation, and wireless product/market cycles.
- Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services raised its ratings on Intermec Inc. to BB- from B+. The firm said the upgrade reflects expectations that Intermec will sustain current levels of profitability and leverage. S&P said the outlook is stable.
