LOUISVILLE, Ky.—US Wireless Online, a wireless Internet broadband network operator, said it plans to sell a majority equity interest in the company to IElement Corp. under a nonbinding letter of intent signed by the companies.
Dallas-based IElement provides advanced communication services and Voice over Internet Protocol solutions. The company said the deal gives it access to more than 2,500 business customers and expands its coverage to six new markets in the southern, eastern and Midwestern United States.
The companies said they will release additional details surrounding the transaction once a definitive agreement is reached, which is expected to occur by Nov. 15.
