SAN DIEGO-Russian CDMA operator Sky Link now has BREW wireless data services available to its customers, enabled by Qualcomm Inc.
Sky Link is the largest Russian CDMA operator, and now its customers have access to mobile content including games, ringtones, media players and mobile business services.
“Sky Link has a unique opportunity to be the first operator in Russia to bring a new generation of mobile services to customers using the BREW platform,” said Alexander Nesterov, general manager of ZAO Sky Link. “We have already received significant interest from the developer community and will continue to expand our catalog with useful and engaging applications.”
Sky Link operates its network within a licensed territory that includes 65 regions with a population of 104 million.
