- Kuwait: Motorola Inc. said it deployed a nationwide third-generation network for MTC. The network included HSDPA technology.
WiMAX - United States: Nokia Corp. said it has been named as a supplier for Sprint Nextel Corp.’s 4G WiMAX buildout.
Miscellaneous - Norway: Motorola Inc. and Siemens said they have won a contract to deliver hardware, software, services and maintenance for a TETRA-based public-safety network.
