WiMAX equipment maker Aperto Networks said it raised $19 million in follow-on series E financing.
The company said its total capitalization now stands at $139 million. Aperto said it plans to use the new funding to expand its WiMAX product line and accelerate worldwide deployments.
The financing was led by GunnAllen Venture Partners and included participation from existing investors including JK&B Capital, Canaan Partners, Alliance Ventures, Innovacom, JAFCO, Labrador Ventures and Tyco.
