Telkore digs up $1.4M in funding

Infrastructure service provider Telkore Inc. snared $1.4 million in a Series A equity funding round led by SJF Ventures.
Based in Mechanicsburg, Pa., Telkore provides installation and maintenance services for wireless towers. The company’s offerings include site acquisition, property management, new tower construction, third-party inspections, audits and decommissioning.
“Service providers are investing $28 billion a year in their wireless networks to improve coverage and quality, accommodate new technologies and meet the high growth of wireless broadband,” said SJF Managing Director David Griest. “Telkore has broad in-house expertise and provides a unique turnkey solution to wireless carriers, large contractors and tower owner/operators.”
