Cellular
–Saudi Arabia: Motorola Inc. said it signed a $335 million turnkey contract to deploy and manage a 2G/3G mobile communications network for Zain in Saudi Arabia. Terms of the contract call for Motorola to supply its GSM/HSxPA solution.
WiMAX
–Spain: Alvarion Ltd. announced it deployed its BreezeMAX system at 3.5 MHz for Iberbanda in Navarra, an autonomous community in northeast Spain.
