The following list includes venture capital and other investments into wireless companies announced during the past week. The value of the investment is included when available.
—Casee: Velti plc invested $3 million into Casee, China’s largest mobile advertising exchange. The investment gives Velti a 33% share in the company and it has also acquired warrants for an additional 17% stake in the company.
—Celtro: Rho Ventures led a $20 million round of funding into Celtro, which provides switching solutions for the mobile backhaul market. Existing investors Genesis Partners and Cedar Fund also participated. The company said it will use the funding to further international operations and to enter new markets.
—Mozes: Maveron L.L.C. led a $11.5 million Series B funding round into Mozes Inc., which provides an interactive mobile marketing service. Existing investors North Bridge Venture Partners and Norwest Venture Partners also participated. The company said it will use the funding to expand its presence in the music industry and to deploy services in other markets like sports and entertainment.
—Ubidyne: Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures led a $34 million round of funding into digital radio technology company Ubidyne. Previous investors Accel Partners and TVM Capital also participated along with new investor BayTech Venture Capital.
