MediaFLO USA Inc. expanded its live news coverage with three new channels of 24-hour-a-day content.
The Qualcomm Inc. subsidiary added CNBC and MSNBC from NBC Universal as well as News Corp.’s Fox News. All three channels offer simulcast programming – delivering content simultaneously across mobile and cable networks – and include shows such as “Mad Money with Jim Cramer,” “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” and Bill O’Reilly’s “The O’Reilly Factor.”
“The FLO TV service allows consumers to stay connected to breaking news as it happens,” said Jonathan Barzilay, SVP of programming and advertising for MediaFLO USA. “With the addition of (the three channels), our subscribers will enjoy instant access to national news and up-to-the-minute financial information.”
MediaFLO’s service is available to mobile users as AT&T Mobile TV and Verizon Wireless’ Vcast Mobile TV.
