JumpTap Inc. said it will use technology from Skweezer Inc. to optimize Web content for mobile phones.
One of the first players in the optimization space, Skweezer offers a direct-to-consumer content mobilization solution as well as Skweezer Private Label, a white-label product for carriers and third parties. The technology will be used “to accelerate and optimize PC Web pages accessed from the search results” delivered by JumpTap, the companies said.
“We were looking for a white-label, carrier-grade solution that we could easily integrate into our platform,” said Adam Soroca, JumpTap’s chief product officer. “Skweezer met our high standard requirements as well as provided broad handset support and high quality rendering across popular handsets.”
Skweezer, which changed its name from Greenlight Wireless earlier this year, also offers a mobile-ad solution that provides both publishers and ad networks with desktop and mobile ads through a single ad feed.
