Handango Inc. expanded its portfolio with two deals with mobile game makers Digital Chocolate and I-play.
The distributor of smartphone applications added Digital Chocolate titles such as 3D Brick Breaker Revolution, Mini Golf 99 Holes and Shopping Madness; I-play’s offerings include the licensed titles Deal or No Deal and Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Handango earlier this year inked distribution pacts with EA Mobile and Capcom in an effort to further tap the mobile-gaming space, which is gaining traction among users of multimedia devices.
“With the ‘games’ category now coming in at second place behind ‘entertainment’ for the first time in Handango’s history, we are excited to expand our content offerings through partnerships with some of the leading mobile game publishers in the industry,” said Alex Bloom, Handango’s VP of content.
