Rajeev Suri has been named CEO of Nokia Siemens Networks. He will replace Simon Beresford-Wylie effective November 1. Suri currently runs the Services business of Nokia Siemens Networks.
FLO TV has chosen Alice Kim to assume the newly created position of SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development. Most recently, Kim has worked as SVP of digital distribution at MTV Networks.
Jim Dunham has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer of Wireless Zone. In this newly formed role, Dunham’s fields of responsibility will include IT, Logistics and Procurement. He served as a partner, SVP and General Manager at Catalyst Business Solutions in LA prior to joining the Wireless Zone team.
Bert Nordberg, current head of Ericsson’s Silicon Valley group, will take over the position of CEO at Sony Ericsson when Hideki Komiyama retires at the end of the year.
Russell Gerns has been appointed to the Novatel Wireless board of directors. Gerns has over 25 years of finance and operational experience working in the high-tech industry.
