Telespree Communications said it won a contract to provide self-service activation to i-wireless customers, an MVNO that uses the Sprint Nextel Corp. network. The self-provisioning tool guides people who buy wireless handsets and services at Kroger stores with details on how to activate their phones, navigate billing options and be assigned a phone number. In addition, if a subscriber wants to input a loyalty number for the grocery store, he or she is eligible for 20 free minutes of airtime for each $100 spent on qualifying items.
