Wireless customers are increasingly satisfied with the service they are receiving from nationwide operators, according to a first quarter 2010 survey conducted by the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
According to the report, customer satisfaction with wireless services set a new high for the second consecutive year increasing 4% to an index score of 72 on ACSI’s 100-point scale. T-Mobile USA Inc. and Verizon Wireless led the carrier rankings, both with an index score of 73. T-Mobile USA hit its mark by improving 3% from the last survey, while Verizon Wireless dipped 1%.
Sprint Nextel Corp. posted the strongest rise amongst nationwide wireless operators gaining 11% to post an index score of 70, following a 13% jump the previous year.
AT&T Mobility improved its score 3% year-over-year to post an index score of 69.
