Focus on new market led by senior sales director for region

Mobile internet specialist Volantis, has announced a partnership with Brazilian systems integration company, CenturyTech Solutions, as part of a new focus on Latin American market opportunities.
Mobile internet traffic in Latin America has increased six-fold since 2008 , with smart phone penetration expected to grow 325 per cent by 2014 . Volantis will capitalise on this growth through its partnership with CenturyTech, helping enterprises in the region to develop comprehensive mobile strategies to take advantage of the growing wireless opportunities. The partnership will empower CenturyTech as Volantis’ reseller in the region, capable of implementing Volantis’ solutions to customers throughout Brazil and Latin America.
The partnership follows Volantis’ senior sales appointment of Javier Llerena. He joins the company with 15 years experience in senior telecoms sales roles at YellowPepper Wireless, Good Technology, Tira Wireless and DeviceAnywhere. Llerena helped penetrate the Latin American market for DeviceAnywhere by establishing a channel partner program, a franchise business model for DeviceAnywhere SaaS model and numerous carrier and enterprise accounts.
