January 1th 2011, Following on from the foreign branches launched earlier in Portugal and Germany, Divitel has now opened a branch in Curacao. As part of our ‘Think Global, Act Local’ strategy, Divitel opened the new office in Willemstad, Curacao – Divitel Americas – in December 2010.
The system integrator for professional, digital video systems already had branches in Germany and Portugal. Previously, customers in the Caribbean area and Latin America – mostly cable and telecom companies – were served from the Netherlands.
“As part of our think global, act local strategy, Divitel has opened an office in Willemstad, Curaçao. This will enable us to provide our existing and new customers in this region with an even better service,” says Anil Sadhoeram, Managing Director of Divitel Americas.
“We’ll be able to use our international knowledge and experience as a system integrator more effectively in the Caribbean and Latin America,” adds Hans Kornmann, CEO of Divitel. “However, a precondition for being able to do business effectively is that the company is actually on the spot, and that’s where we are now.”
Divitel will provide the same services in the Caribbean and Latin America as it does in the other regions. The demand for digital, interactive television is also increasing there. In an area in which the infrastructure requires tailor-made solutions, Divitel can provide expertise in such areas as MMDS, IPTV and 3-Screen Technology.
