KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 (Bernama) — Yes, the fastest mobile Internet service with voice, aims to bring its campus-wide 4G network, Yes 4G, to all public universities and selected private institutions of higher learning in Malaysia this year.
The network has been successfully activated at University Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, making the university one of the first completely 4G-enabled university in the country, YTL Communications said in a statement today.
Executive Director Yasmin Mahmood said broadband was essential in today’s learning environment in order to build a generation of immersive and progressive students who are able to access information and knowledge at their fingertips.
