Jan. 6, 2011 (China Knowledge) – ZTE Corp<000063><0763>, the second-largest telecom equipment provider in China, has announced that its sales volume of terminal products surged 50% year on year to a record 90 million units in 2010, boosted by rising demand in both the international and domestic markets.
The fastest-growing market was in Europe where sales volume soared 150% year on year. The U.S. market experienced a year-on-year growth of 100% in sales volume.
ZTE estimated that its shipment of terminal products, including handsets, network cards and netbooks, will reach 120 million units this year.
