DeviceAnywhere and Sogeti High Tech Collaborate to Build Embedded Mobile Application Quality Assurance Solutions for Service Providers, Developers and Content Providers

Mobile World Congress 2011

BARCELONA, Spain–(BUSINESS WIRE)–DeviceAnywhere, the industry leader in end-to-end mobile application testing solutions, and Sogeti High Tech, a leading company in engineering and technology consulting services and a 100% subsidiary of Capgemini Group, today announced a new partnership focused on developing automated mobile application testing solutions.

This partnership brings together Sogeti group’s world-class technical expertise and specialisation in mobile applications testing services and DeviceAnywhere’s patented technology platforms for testing and quality assurance of third party enterprise and consumer applications for mobile devices including smartphones and tablets.
Sogeti High Tech, driving Sogeti Group’s engineering services, and Device Anywhere started this collaboration working together for a major European client.
Sogeti High Tech intends to develop testing solutions based on key DeviceAnywhere technology products including:
  • DeviceAnywhere Test Center – utilising DeviceAnywhere’s patented Direct-to-Device technology that enables developers to connect to and control live mobile devices – over the Internet – for all application and content testing requirements;
  • DeviceAnywhere Test Automation – a powerful, highly flexible scripting environment that allows users to automate a wide range of manual test cases, saving time, effort and costs without any reduction in test reliability or quality.

Among the key application areas for these developed solutions will be managing and improving the efficiency of the complex certification processes for content providers and developers who supply products for service providers’ application stores.

The advantage of Sogeti High Tech leveraging DeviceAnywhere technology is that the rigorous submission and certification processes can be fully automated and centralised, enabling fully quality-assured content to be available to a service provider’s customers much faster.
Faraz Syed, Co-Founder and CEO, DeviceAnywhere, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Sogeti High Tech to develop innovative testing solutions for their clients. There is a strong synergy between their skills and our technology that enables mobile testing processes to be more easily automated, streamlined and aligned with aggressive go-to-market plans for new generations of app stores.”
Sogeti High Tech is a market leader in engineering and technology consulting services. Mobile Application Testing Services is part of the company’s Systems and Software Engineering business line, which is dedicated to real-time and embedded developments and to technical and scientific information system creation required for product lifecycle management.
