AT&T Inc. announced that Rick Lindner, chief financial officer, will retire effective June 1, 2011. He will be replaced by AT&T Controller John Stephens, a 19-year company veteran. Lindner has served as CFO for the company since 2004, and he previously was CFO for Cingular Wireless, the joint wireless venture between SBC and BellSouth.
France Telecom’s Didier Lombard announced in a press release that he is stepping down from his role as Special Adviser and will be leaving the company. Lombard led many changes at France Telecom over the past few years as CEO. During those years there was much controversy over the suicides amongst his employees; this eventually led to his stepping down as CEO last year.
Jim Lanzone, co-founder and CEO of Clicker Media Inc., has been named President of CBS Interactive, it was announced by Leslie Moonves, President and CEO, CBS Corporation. In this role, Lanzone will oversee all of CBS Interactive’s operations worldwide. At the same time, CBS Interactive has also entered into an agreement to acquire Clicker Media Inc. Upon closing, Clicker.com will join CBS Interactive’s roster of leading Internet properties, including CNET.com, TV.com, CBS.com, CBSSports.com, CBSNews.com and Gamespot.com.
NBCUniversal has announced that Nicholas Lehman will be the new president of digital for NBCUniversal’s Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media division. Most recently, Lehman was the CEO of Plum TV and spent many years at MTV Networks, where he helped build an their digital media business.
Integra Telecom Inc., a fiber-based, wholesale and retail telecommunications provider for business, has named Tom Casey chief executive officer. Casey has been the chairman of the board of Integra Telecom since 2009 and will remain a director. He most recently served as the president and chief executive officer of Current Group LLC, headquartered in Germantown, Md.
