BARCELONA, Spain—Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s new 10.1 -inch Galaxy Tablet 2 has a nice user interface and is an improvement from its first version, reports RCR Unplugged Editor Sylvie Barak from the show floor during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, last month.
The tablet, which uses Google Inc.’s Honeycomb operating system, sports Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core microprocessor and is HSPA+-enabled. While there is a bit of a lag time on the home screen, Barak’s hands-on experience shows how nice the responsive multi-touch functionality is on the device as she scrolls through several applications.
