True ups bandwidth with fibre-optic ethernetTrue Corporation is moving aggressively into high-speed fibre-optic networking for corporate customers with the introduction of up to 10-gigabit ethernet service to meet demand for greater bandwidth.
True, through subsidiary True Universal Convergence, expects the new fibre-optic ethernet service, targeted at banks, security firms and small and medium-sized enterprises, to generate revenue of 100 million baht this year.
Chumanat Katesatien, the vice-president for business data services at True Corporation, said that with speeds from 2 Mbps to 10 Gbps, the new offering would target corporate customers.
