London – Thursday, 28 April 2011 The operating businesses of Telefónica Europe have undergone a name change in line with the company’s global strategy of ‘One Team One Telef ónica’. The company’s European operating businesses will now be named Telefónica Czech Republic; Telefónica Ireland; Telefónica Slovakia and Telefónica UK. All these companies will continue to operate under the commercial brand O2 in their territories. Telefónica Germany underwent its name change on 1 April 2011.
