AT4 Wireless | May 2, 2011 | Press Release
Linkou, Taipei, Taiwan – May 02, 2011 — AT4 wireless Taiwan, a leading Testing Laboratory, is pleased to announce its official designation as First Continua Health Alliance Laboratory in Asia
Continua Health Alliance today announced it has qualified AT4 wireless Taiwan to carry out its certification testing program for the Asia Pacific region.
“With this new qualification in Asia, AT4 wireless laboratories are now able to attend and support Continua product developers all around the world. This achievement is very important considering how many Asian companies are involved in developing wireless and mobile products, many of them, being medical and connected health devices”, said Hsu Chang, Deputy CEO at AT4 wireless Taiwan.
In September 2008 AT4 wireless Spain was the first official Continua Health Alliance to provide certification testing services. Later, in March 2010 AT4 wireless in Virginia (USA) gained the same authorization. With this latest designation, AT4 wireless is completing its global support to the health care industry and extending its testing services portfolio for wireless technologies.
In 2010, Continua also named Raul Gonzalez and Elisabeth Ruiz from AT4 wireless Continua Certification Experts (CCE). CCEs are appointed by Continua to support vendors seeking certification both during the certification phase and during the product development phase.
“Continua is pleased to qualify AT4 wireless’ certification testing program in Asia” said Chuck Parker, Executive Director, Continua Health Alliance. “Consumers around the world can be assured that products and services bearing the Continua logo have undergone rigorous AT4 wireless interoperability testing to ensure that they work together seamlessly. They can purchase products with confidence, knowing that what they buy today will work with what they buy tomorrow, and manufacturers can continue to create new products that consumers will buy because they work with the products they already have.”
