GameSalad Inc., an Austin and Los Angeles-based firm specializing in game creation for the Web, iPhone, iPad and Mac without the use of coding announced that the company has released a new version of its flagship software, the GameSalad Creator.
The company claims the new 0.9.3 Beta version upgrade of the software includes better reliability and performance, new game templates and additional support for leaderboards.
GameSalad offers users the ability to create games for the iOS without being a software developer. GameSalad was founded in August 2007 by Michael Agustin, Dan Treiman, Tan Tran, and Joshua Seaver and is hiring to create a new studio in San Francisco, Calif.
The company is backed by venture firms DFJ Frontier, DFJ Mercury Venture Partners, ff Asset Management, and Steamboat Ventures.
