UndercoverTourist.com, an Austin-based provider of online discounts for travel to Orlando, Fla.-based destinations such as Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, SeaWorld, Richard Petty Driving Experience, and Medieval Times said that it has launched a new BlackBerry app.
The rollout of the app, which is already on iOS and Android platforms, is free and allows users the advantage of discounted tickets and minute-by-minute updates on wait times for Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando rides and attraction.
The Disney app is named “Disney World Wait Times” and can be found at BlackBerry App World, the App Store and the Android Market.
The app provides a travel guide with detailed maps for Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the Epcot Center. The app’s GPS enabled-locator allows users accurate waiting times for all attractions that are based in real-time with menus for restaurants and map filter options. If a user decides to only view which rides accept FastPass, they are able to filter out all other rides.
Other perks include a separate planner menu that provides parade times in the major parks and a 10-day crowd forecast gleaned from historical park data.
Similar offerings are also contained in the Universal Studios Orlando app.
