The IABM announced that Joe Zaller will serve as the association’s North American market development officer. Prior to founding Devoncroft Partners, strategic marketing and market research for digital media, he served as vice president of corporate development at Snell & Wilcox (now Snell).
Current Analysis, announced that it has named Tim Dowd as its new President and CEO. Dowd, former President and CEO of INPUT, will succeed Ray Keneipp. Prior to his senior posts at INPUT, Dowd was the President of USIS (now Altegrity) Commercial Services Division (CSD).
LightSquared has appointed Terry Neal as the company’s senior vice president of public relations and communications. Reporting to Frank Boulben, chief marketing officer, Neal will oversee earned media strategy and implementation for LightSquared. Neal most recently served in Hill & Knowlton’s Washington office as senior vice president/director of strategic media, managing the agency’s Strategic Media Practice.
Motricity and Ryan Wuerch, the CEO, mutually agreed to terminate Mr. Wuerch’s employment with Motricity. Motricity has named Jim Smith interim Chief Executive Officer and has engaged Korn/Ferry International to conduct a search for a permanent CEO. Motricity is considering Mr. Smith and other external candidates for the position. Read more.

These new directors collectively bring over 70 years of proven leadership experience in building and scaling companies for exponential growth. NVIDIA announced it plans to appoint Steve Scott, a longtime Cray Inc. executive, as chief technology officer (CTO) for NVIDIA’s Tesla™ business unit. Scott will be responsible for the Tesla roadmap and architecture. Scott was the recipient of the 2005 ACM Maurice Wilkes Award and the 2005 IEEE Seymour Cray Computer Engineering Award. He has served on numerous program committees and advisory boards.
NVIDIA has also announced that it has appointed Michael LaBianca, a long-time senior Silicon Valley executive, to serve as senior vice president of human resources. LaBianca will be responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of NVIDIA’s global HR strategy. Read more.
HyperCube LLC announced that its Chief Technology Officer, Doug Davis, has been appointed to the Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council (CSRIC) for a second term by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The FCC appointed council members from both the public and private sector, including representatives of Akamai Technologies, Amazon.com, AT&T, CenturyLink, PayPal, T-Mobile USA, Telecommunications Industry Association, and Verizon Communications.
