Rural telecom provider Frontier Communications (FTR) signed a wholesale agreement with AT&T Mobility (T) to offer wireless services to Frontier’s customers.
The three-year deal will allow Frontier to provide access to AT&T Mobility’s mobile broadband network, along with access to a selection of wireless devices. Frontier customers will be able to add the service to their current bill. Frontier plans to begin trialing the service in the first half of next year, with plans to expand the commercial offering across Frontier’s 27-state footprint.
Financial terms of the deal were not released.
