Hewlett-Packard Co. (NYSE: HPQ) has acquired Hiflex Software GmbH, a privately held global software solutions provider specializing in Web-to-print and management information systems solutions for printing services. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1991, Hiflex is based in Aachen, Germany. Following the acquisition, Hiflex will continue to develop its offerings and serve its current customers.

Technologies from Hiflex will extend the company’s portfolio of cloud-based technologies and solutions. HP also said that it remains committed to supporting a broad range of partner solutions, giving customers maximum choice and flexibility.
