The Scout smart parking platform includes new analytics capabilities and a redesigned user interface
U.S. parking technology solutions provider NuPark has unveiled its next cloud-based smart parking management platform dubbed Scout.
The new version will allow parking professionals to gain greater efficiency, access, and better visibility into their parking operations. The Scout platform combines a highly configurable interface with real-time visual monitoring and analytics.
NuPark’s Scout platform integrates new capabilities including a redesigned HTML5-based user interface and new dashboards, which provide graphic representations of parking information.

The newly redesigned responsive HTML5 interface allows parking professionals to get access to the full functionality of the NuPark solution. Parking management users can now view data and control parking operations in real time from any location and any device using a secure Web browser.
The new Scout platform also expands the existing License Plate Recognition (LPR) capabilities of the current solution and also includes a full-featured parking analytics package. By analyzing data from both the NuPark and third-party systems, users can obtain useful information related to the use of parking, impacts of operational changes, and predictions about future demand and usage.
NuPark’s Scout platform also allows customers to connect all their third-party software and hardware platforms to create one fully integrated system. Scout currently integrates with more than 40 systems, including: multi-space meters, PARCS, credit card, court, student records, HR, and finance systems.
NuPark said that the Scout platform will become commercially available next month.
