U.S. wireless infrastructure company Mobilitie is deploying a 5G network across the campus of Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie, Florida.
The vendor said that the 5G neutral-host wireless network blankets the 314-acre campus, including administrative offices, classrooms, the library, residence halls, computer labs and athletic facilities, providing high-speed communications and connectivity for the 20,000-plus person student body, faculty and operations.

Earlier this week, Mobilitie announced that it will deploy a 5G wireless network at the campus at the University of Cincinnati.
This partnership will provide a state-of-the-art neutral-host network to the Fifth Third Arena and numerous buildings throughout campus, including to the College of Medicine, College of Nursing and the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Mobilitie said.
Mobilitie had previously signed partnerships to deploy and manage wireless technology at institutions around the country including the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, University of Alabama, George Mason University and Nova Southeastern University, among others.
Last month, Mobilitie said it is deploying a 5G network at West End Stadium, the future home to FC Cincinnati.
The stadium is expected to officially open in March 2021 and will host 26,000 fans.
Mobilitie is deploying a network of more than 60,000 linear feet of fiber. With more than 200 antennas, including 8 multi-beam antennas, the network will provide attendees with the fastest possible 5G connection throughput speeds with the lowest latency or data lags, the company said.
