DENVER-Brickhouse Mobile announced a five-year agreement with Homegrown Video, an amateur adult film distributor, that calls for Brickhouse to develop, distribute and sell mobile-phone content and services worldwide.
Homegrown content will be available via a monthly subscription or a la carte, according to the deal. Content will include original wallpaper, videos and voice ringtones.
The two companies said they are working together to comply with U.S. and international standards and to ensure only adults can access the content.
Meanwhile, mobile messaging company MindMatics AG announced a deal with Private Media Group Inc., a Spanish adult media provider, to offer content to more than 220 million European wireless users. The companies will deliver adult-themed text messaging, wallpapers, audio, video and erotic games to users in eight countries, with more markets expected to follow.
Content initially will be offered through Private’s Web site, and future marketing efforts will include print and broadcast media. The service will be in strict compliance with all local regulations, the companies said.
“This agreement marks a turning point in our mobile content services,” said Berth Milton, Private’s chief executive officer.
