REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.-IQ Biometrix Inc. and Wherify Wireless Inc. said they closed their merger, making Wherify a wholly owned subsidiary of IQB.
As part of the merger, IQB has changed its name to Wherify and has requested a new trading symbol for its stock. Wherify provides location products and services as well as law enforcement and security technology solutions.
The companies first announced plans to merge in April 2004.
