LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-Alltel Corp.’s board of directors today declared regular quarterly dividends on the company’s common stock. The 38-cent dividend is payable Oct. 3 to stockholders of record as of Sept. 9.
Regular quarterly dividends also were declared on all series of the company’s preferred stock. Preferred dividends are payable Sept. 15 to stockholders of record as of Aug. 25.
Alltel is in the process of buying Western Wireless Corp.
